Panel Technician
Bridgend
Salary - £16p.h + (efficiency based bonus)
Permanent, 40 - 45 hour week

Our busy Client is looking for a Panel Technician to join their team!

Essential Skills
• Level 3 IMI / City and Guilds Body repair qualification
• 3 years experience within a Bodyshop


Role and Responsibilities
• Dismantle and repair damaged vehicles by either repairing damaged panels or by replacing those beyond repair
• Use jigs, fixtures and welding equipment, according to instruction and level of qualification, and always to the prescribed safety standards
• Ensure body alignment equipment is used accurately on all body repairs
• Adhere to the manufacturer’s literature and modification bulletins as appropriate
• Complete assigned jobs within the estimated panel times,
• Report any additional damage found
• Record accurately all components, materials, consumables and hours used on each vehicle repair
