Account Manager

Working on a field sales basis alongside an office based team the job involves selling in-company training and consultancy solutions to organisations (large and small) throughout the region. You will also be responsible for identifying and promoting places on your open course training venues in your specified territory and indeed throughout the UK.

• To achieve pre-determined sales targets personally and as a team.
• To ensure that all client enquiries are managed promptly and efficiently in line with the
sales process flow.
• To organise and carry out over 20 prospect / client visits per calendar month in your region
and follow these up with formal proposals and quotations in line with our company format.
• To ensure that all new contacts are entered on the database and that existing contacts are
amended and up-to-date in accordance with the sales process flow.
• To process course bookings and to communicate with the operations team in line with our
quality management system.
• To advise the Managing Director of important delegate feedback.
• To monitor enquiries and take action to convert enquiries into bookings to achieve targets.
• To ensure that all sales are logged on the Sales Report forms and the CRM.
• To work with the Marketing team in providing supporting information for our website and
PR information.
• To advise report back on clients to be visited/called.
• To work within the systems/procedures in place– they have ISO 9001:2015 accreditation.
• To attend the regular sales meetings and contribute on behalf of the sales and marketing
• Any other duties as requested by the Managing or Operations Director.

This role will be predominantly home based although with office attendance whenever requested to do so by the Line Manager. In order to fulfil the role properly the candidate will need to have a good internet connection. In addition, will require a car that is deemed suitable for the role (in line with our motoring policy).
