Job Description

Welsh Speaking Exam Invigilator
ST6111
DBS Essential
£Hourly rate negotiable
Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm (term time only)
Maternity cover 1 year

Core Duties:
• Manage the day to day running of external examinations.
• General Administration of all formal and informal assessments of the school.
• Ensure accurate and timely registration for each examination session and to all relevant Awarding Bodies to the school curriculum - ensuring clear identification of their different requirements.
• Make arrangements for external examining for private candidates.
• Liaise with all staff, heads of department, e.g. in terms of records, disseminate information, answer queries and deal with queries or complaints.
• Provide a schedule including dates, times, locations and centre number of candidates.
• Ensure a broad knowledge to pupils, staff and parents about the scheduling of assessments and external examinations.
• Ensure that individual candidates are aware of their examination timetables.
• Safe and confidential administration of materials of all external examinations.
• Arranging the examination room, in accordance with regulations.
• Ensure adequate supply of materials and examination papers prior to each session of examinations.

The candidate would be expected to work an additional 74 hours over the duration of the year, which would involve some working during holidays or after work. This would be as and when required.
