German Speaking Sales Representatives
£15,268.50 basic, plus uncapped commission
Permanent role
Full time: Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm

3 month probation period, during this period a basic salary of £18k is guaranteed

Duties and Responsibilities

·Initiate outgoing telemarketing calls to potential customers who have received a mailing. Effectively understand customer needs through open probing questions with a view to maximising and closing the sale.

·Determine the needs of the customer and offer solutions to those needs through the company’s products

·Promote products, cross sell and up sell to maximise orders and revenue

·Accurately key in orders, make changes, and obtain imprint information, logo, etc. during the sales call and ensure that orders are confirmed by following the order acknowledgement process.

·Follow call guides determined by sales management focussing on both features and benefits as appropriate.

·Manage customers effectively and build a pipeline for future promotions.

·Update Sales and Marketing database and Telemar system as directed.

·Record all negotiations with customers

·Meet or exceed department standards in Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) e.g. sales per hour, DMCs per hour, sales conversion rates, average order size etc. Will maintain a high call rate, typically 200 per day, as determined by dialler system.

·Works with their manager to discuss accounts and overall work performance; is actively involved with their manager to enhance their performance and skills.

·Seek opportunities for learning, development and training

·To undertake such additional duties appropriate to the post and to support the organisation’s wider goals by working flexibly across the organisation from time to time as determined by your manager.

The successful candidate must

Speak fluent German
Have a clear and likeable telephone manner
Be money hungry
Team player
Good attention to detail

200 dials/day
Speak to at least 40 decision makers
The target is 2.5-3 sales per day or £300 billing per day

Where applicable, we must also keep payroll records, holiday pay, sick pay and pensions auto-enrolment records for as long as is legally required by HMRC and associated national minimum wage, social security and tax legislation.
