• Ensure that all incoming purchasing requests are completed within an appropriate timeframe and that customers are fully appraised of the status of their orders.
• Provide invoice and recharge reconciliation, ensuring invoices are tracked and processed with a high degree of accuracy.
• Stock Management, including end of life and replacement items.
• Support Service Provision teams in resolving customer equipment issues and queries
• Liaise with Business stakeholders in order to ensure that purchase order requests comply with the authorisation limits of that business stream.
• Maintain relationships with external equipment suppliers and product vendors.
• Liaise with courier companies to arrange delivery and collection of IT stock.
• Liaise with configuration management teams to maintain accurate asset log tracker details.
• Maintain accurate purchase orders and invoice tracker details.
• Ensure the team always have a sufficient supply of packaging material for dispatching goods.
• Liaise with Head of Service to ensure orders are placed to replenish the stock as and when required.
• Ensure that all request records are kept up to date with the most current information available.
• Develop and provide reports to support effective management of supplier performance and to track and report on benefits delivered.
• Recommend Service Improvements & subsequently implement following approval process.
• Understanding and awareness of the ePROC system.
• To respond to requests given by the Manager to undertake other duties, consistent with position and experience.

Essential
• Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent
• Strong analytical skills
• Solid attention to detail and organisational skills
• Solid communication skills including ability to listen, understand business issues, and analysing data to resolve process inefficiencies
• Self-motivated
• Ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team
• Advanced MS Word & Excel
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time and consistent follow through

Desirable
• Educated to Degree Level or equivalent.
• Previous Customer facing role within the IT industry/ Service Desk/ Procurement/ Supply Management
• An understanding of working to SLAs.
• ITIL Awareness
• Finance Awareness
