Job Description

Administrative Assistant
Monday – Friday 9.30am – 5. 30pm
20 days annual leave plus all the statutory public/bank holidays
£14,250.60 per annum

Our client are a prominent organisation within the sporting industry. They currently have an immediate need for an Administrative Assistant to join their busy team.

The duties will include:

• Answering telephone calls and queries and/or directing callers to the appropriate persons
• Opening, logging and distributing incoming mail.
• Sorting and franking outgoing post
• Maintaining and updating database records and paper files
• Creating database records and laminates for new licence holders
• Logging incoming medicals, MRI scans and blood results in preparation for signing by the Medical Officer
• Sending out standard letters relating to client’s medicals and licences
• Logging tournament report results and suspensions etc. to the database
• Assisting with the preparation and distribution of tournament details
• Assisting with preparation, photocopying etc. and posting of mailshots.
• Taking credit/debit card payments from licence holders
• Filing
• General office duties as required

Full training will be provided in our client’s database and all relevant systems.

The successful candidate should be educated to “A” level standard and possess a calm, confident telephone manner and be able to work individually within a small team.

Where applicable, we must also keep payroll records, holiday pay, sick pay and pensions auto-enrolment records for as long as is legally required by HMRC and associated national minimum wage, social security and tax legislation.
As an individual, you have several rights in respect to the processing of your personal data, all of which can be reviewed on our website.
