Our client is an established Loss Adjustors firm, based in Cardiff City Centre. They currently have a need for Claim/Call Handlers to work within the Home Emergency or Commercial Claims department.
The Claims/Call Handler will be responsible for receiving inbound calls from clients (if working in the Home Emergency Department) or landlords, shopkeepers and contractors (If you’re working in the Commercial Claims Department) who wish to make insurance claims. You will then need to input all relevant data onto the database, and pass the call on to the relevant department.
You will have / will be:
• Exceptional customer service skills to enable you to deal with Clients, Brokers and
Policyholders -training will be provided
• A positive and pro-active attitude to exceeding client and customer expectations
• Excellent telephone manner
• Strong communication skills - both written and oral
• Accurate keyboard skills
• IT literacy

The Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003, require us to keep work-seeker records for at least one year from the date of their creation or after the date on which we last provide work-finding services. Where applicable, we must also keep payroll records, holiday pay, sick pay and pensions auto-enrolment records for as long as is legally required by HMRC and associated national minimum wage, social security and tax legislation.
As an individual, you have several rights in respect to the processing of your personal data, all of which can be reviewed on our website. This includes the right to withdraw consent at any time by contacting the Recruitment Consultant with whom you initiated contact, or any other employee at St David Recruitment Services.
