Job Description

Trainee Estimator and Internal Account handler
Pontypool
Permanent / Full time

Working alongside the General Manager supplying Estimates, liaising with customers, with turn arounds and deliveries, Chasing Live estimates and getting feedback on quotations supplied. Organising customers’ needs and Diarising Meetings for the sales team. Organising live jobs for all our Sales executives across the group. Daily reports on feedback from quotations supplied to customers, working Directly with the General Manager and the sales director

Duties:
▪ deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face respond promptly to customer enquiries
▪ Will deal with a High volume of Estimates requests from across the group (training will be given)
▪ Follow up calls to made to for all Live estimates
▪ obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle enquiries and orders
▪ process orders, job headers, forms, credit applications and requests
▪ prepare works instruction tickets / job bags for production
▪ scheduling and timings to be assessed and presented in order to ensure the delivery date required by the client can be met
▪ book outwork/Raise Purchase orders
▪ Following a Production schedule, you are to keep on top of to ensure deliveries arrive on time with the customer.
▪ source approval of price from client in the form of a purchase order or confirmation by email or letter stating price and delivery
▪ direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource
▪ maintain customers' accounts with relevant contact details
▪ communicate and coordinate with internal departments and other offices
▪ maintain a positive working relationship with clients to handle, resolve and record customer complaints
▪ ensure any potential conflict over errors, deadlines, quality or price are resolved quickly to maintain the client’s business
▪ assist in the collection and formation of marketing databases by telephone or email
▪ Following up by phone daily, for feedback on quotations.
▪ Support the Sales Team as and when you can.
