Our client are an industry leader in temporary liquid containment, transfer and treatment. Their specially-designed modular equipment enables them to deliver rapid, cost-effective solutions entirely on a rental basis during planned maintenance projects, shutdowns and emergencies to their industrial customer base.
They operate via a network of 11 locations across Europe. Due to continued growth they are now seeking to add to their ambitious and successful UK team.
Job description:
• You will be the focus of activity on customer sites
• Managing the installation, commissioning and handover of the solution to customers.
• Our client operate nationwide so the role is wide-ranging, involving extensive UK travel and some nights away from home.
• During ongoing projects you may be required to revisit customer sites to provide technical support or carry out maintenance.
• At the end of the project you will manage the safe decommissioning and removal of the equipment.
• When not required on customer sites, you will be responsible for completing maintenance inspections and repairs at our fully-equipped branch location to ensure maximum availability and reliability of the rental fleet. The role involves being available on a standby rota basis outside of normal working hours.
Experience required:
• You are an experienced Field Service Technician who enjoys providing high levels of customer service.
• Although not necessarily gained in our clients industry, your technical expertise will be the result of formal education and practical experience.
• You are content to work independently, accurately and in accordance with pre-defined procedures.
• You enjoy physically demanding work in a relaxed, team-orientated culture.
• You hold a full UK driving licence (company service vehicle provided).
