Part-Time Receptionist
Monday to Wednesday, 3 days per week
8.30am – 6.00pm

Our client, an established firm of solicitors in Cardiff, are looking for a part-time Receptionist to provide an efficient and professional reception function. You will ensure the smooth running of the reception and Cegin areas, meeting rooms and car park.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Answering calls politely, quickly and efficiently and Operating switchboard
• Review online conference room diary and be aware of client due to arrive
• Notify lawyers/consultants/support staff immediately when guests arrive, or earlier if they enter the car park via the barrier system
• Booking client car park spaces
• Organise meeting rooms every morning, ensuring there are enough glasses, notepads, pencils
• Redirecting incoming faxes and finding ownership of unreferenced faxes
• Responsible for arranging all outgoing couriers and informing relevant person of incoming courier deliveries
• Co-ordinating the out-going and incoming ironing and dry-cleaning
• Assisting with postal franking in the afternoon when required
• Assisting with Maltings requests when necessary
• Keep Reception Procedures handbook up to date
• Centrally store contact details e.g. couriers, photocopying services
• Ordering stationery and checking off delivery
• Tidying reception area and Cegin throughout the day to ensure exceptional standards of cleanliness at all times
• Turn the coffee machine on every morning and clean the coffee machine every evening. Refill machine throughout the day.
• Handing over to Security in the evenings and obtaining a briefing from them in the mornings
• Ad-hoc administrative duties to assist the Central Services team
• Any other reasonable duties that may arise from time to time.
About you:
You will be polite, friendly and professional. You will have strong communication skills and experience of working in a similar role.
