Facilities Supervisor
Newport, situated near Junction 28 of the M4
Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm
Permanent

The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Head of Facilities with the managing of the planned preventive maintenance programme, liaising with contractors, arranging site visits and following up on outstanding actions. Duties also include promoting Health & Safety within the facility, collating information
from maintenance reports, filing, uploading confidential documentation to the relevant locations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Day to day liaison with the Head Facilities Management to support company objectives and priorities
• Supervise and coordinate the day to day activities of the facilities team to ensure optimal functioning and maintenance of the Facility.
• Provide maintenance scheduling information, aligned to supply chain contracts, for both management and customers on an annual basis to allow for future planning by customers.
• Management of facilities team and resolve any conflict issues.
• Manage facility health and safety environmental aspects to current legislation for employees, customers and third-party contractors.
• Keep abreast with all aspects of relevant health and safety legislation
• Manage supplier contracts for mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
• Advise on potential issues with suppliers and ensure supplier performance is in line with expectations and contracts.
• Assist with ensuring all mechanical and electrical infrastructure is maintained in line with OEM recommendations ensuring resilience is maintained and uptime targets are met.
• Administrative tasks relating to the maintenance and upkeep of the supplier repository.
• Stand-in for the Head of Facilities when he is away.
• Act as a point of contact for any Facilities related issues.
• Liaise and manage hard and soft service contractors on site.
• Be able to prioritise your work load.
• Supervision of loading bay operations
• Ensure the compliance of all Procedures and conform to the requirements of all ISOs and certifications held by the Company.
• Undertake training, as directed by the Head of Facilities Management.
• Must achieve and hold an SC security clearance.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
