Software Engineer
12-month FTC
Full-time, Monday to Friday
Salary up to £36k per annum

Our client is one of Wales’ largest registered social landlords. They are now searching for an experienced Software Engineer to join their dynamic team, in a 12-month FTC.
In this role, you will:
•Provide proactive support to your customers
•Manage and develop maintenance / upgrade plans
•Assist in the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics
•Perform database administration
•Develop reports
•Be responsible for ensuring that the software applications are secure, resilient
•Work closely with our staff to maintain the accuracy and integrity of any data kept on all applications and related databases.
The ideal candidate will have experience of:

•Systems administration
•Change control
•MS Dynamics and MS Office365
•Relational databases such as SQL and / or Ingres
•Development experience
•Project experience


•Software installation and configuration
•Ability to train and/or explain tasks to others
•Ability to solve problems in a logical manner.
•Willingness to learn and develop new skills and knowledge.
•Ability to communicate effectively with a range of key stakeholders
•Extensive Structured Query Language (SQL) Query development for processes and reporting.
•Systems implementation/integration experience.
•Experience (3 Years +) of Application Development (VB.Net, C#, ASP.Net, PowerShell)
•Experience of SharePoint 365 Administration, Design and Implementation including Site and group creation and configuration to include retention
•Experience of configuration and development of Dynamics CRM / 365 including workflows, JavaScript and Plugins
•Experience of MS SQL tools including SSMS, SSRS and SSIS
•Experience in full lifecycle software development.
•A detailed understanding of relational database management systems


•Knowledge of a variety of housing management and repairs systems, preferably including Capita Housing, DRS and Total Mobile.
•Experience of management / administration of a Microsoft SQL RDBMS
•Knowledge of back-up routines and disaster recovery principles
•Experience Source Control.
