Full time Monday to Friday 8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Salary £23,000 - £25,500 basic plus Bonus
OTE £30000 - £40000

Bonus: No sold hours held back. – Time attended vs Sold.

Overtime paid at time + ½ attended (plus bonus hours sold).
(A degree of flexibility with hours is required; to work overtime when work demands. This can be on both weekday and weekends)

Our client are a dynamic, progressive and privately owned car dealership in Bridgend. A full time position is available in their Accident Repair Centre as a Panel Beater. They are looking for a qualified panel technician to work alongside our existing team.

Key role and responsibilities of this position involves:
• Operation of body alignment jigs
• Panel straightening and filling
• Replacement of panels
• Welding and bonding of vehicle structure
• Strip & rebuild of trim
• Removing & replacing complete body shell
• Knowledge of repair methods
• Keep accurate list of parts required
• Comply with BS10125 and company procedures
• Comply with health and safety procedures
• Maintain high standards of house-keeping
• Attend training courses when required
• Supporting each other in this busy environment

• ATA Senior Panel Technician accreditation / willingness to achieve ATA
within a reasonable time

Essential:

ATA Senior Panel Technician - or will have to be willing to pass qualification within 6 -9 months of start – Training will be paid for.
NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Qualified / suitable experience as a panel technician

A full driving licence with a maximum of 6 points.

Desirable but not essential:

Manufacturer Experience
Ford Trained
