Job Description

Assembly/Electronics Technician
£18k-£21k per annum DOE

Job Purpose:

Assembly/Electronics Technician required for a market leading Electronics Company based in Cardiff, South Wales. Our client designs and manufactures advanced electronic controls that assist people with disabilities to drive. They are the UK market leader and sell their products around the world.

Main duties will include

• Assisting with stock e.g. checking and counting incoming stock, stock checks
• Picking components from stock for the production team
• Packing and checking products for daily despatch
• Mechanical assembly of steering devices and keypads
• Assisting with crimping of looms and loom assembly
• Other duties depending on experience

• Experience in Assembly and other areas listed above
• Precision soldering and production of electronic parts and sub-assemblies would be advantageous
• Good manual dexterity and an eye for fine detail is essential as is own transport
• Experience or qualifications working with electronic parts would be advantageous and could lead to more varied duties in that area.
