Sales Administrator
Rumney – Cardiff
Full time, permanent role
Hours: Monday – Friday, (7:00am-3:30pm and 8:30am-5:00pm)
Salary: £23,000-£23,500 per annum
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Sales Administrator to join their friendly, family run business. With great development opportunities!
Essential:
• Must have access to own vehicle and drivers licence due to access to location
Essential Experience:
• 2 years Administration experience
• IT Literate – Working knowledge of MS Office Packages
• Friendly and polite when interacting with customers and collages
• Good at problem solving and remaining resilient
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Open to feedback, improving and learning new skills
• Able to confidently make decisions
• 5 GCSE’s Grades A-C or equivalent
What you’ll be responsible for:
• Log and action telephone orders from the general public and trade
• Manage online orders and/or enquiries through email or social media outlets
• To liaise with Local Authority Highways personnel as required
• To apply for and file Local Authority skip permits when required
• To cross-check and file authorised permit applications
• To ensure COD customer payments are made
• To take credit card payments as required
• To ensure all delivery tickets are correctly completed and invoiced
• To maintain / update spreadsheets as required
• To assist Senior staff in the effective and efficient delivery of service
• To promote the Company in a professional manner
• To provide administrative support to other colleagues as required
