Role Overview
St David Recruitment are delighted to be working with our client who are heading up a Joint Venture to deliver a major redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site in Plymouth.
They are seeking a Temporary Works Administrator to join their Design and Engineering team. In this role, you will provide administrative support to a growing team of Temporary Works Coordinators, contributing to the successful delivery of all aspects of Temporary Works on a large, complex dockyard project. Due to the sensitive nature of the site, BPSS security clearance is required. Please note that the clearance process can take up to 8 weeks.
Eligibility Criteria
All Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years
Key Responsibilities
Working within a live MOD facility, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Administration and maintenance of the Project Temporary Works Register
- Updating schedules for Temporary Works designs progressing through the approval system
- Assembling Design Packs for completed Temporary Works designs
- Submitting Design Packs to the Client for approval via the Common Data Environment (CEMAR)
- Filing approved Temporary Works designs on the Project CDE (ProjectWise)
- Administration of the Permit to Load / Dismantle Register
- Filing KBJV and Client-approved Temporary Works Permits on the Project CDE
- Filing scaffolding handover certificates and weekly inspection documentation received from subcontractors

Additional Requirements
- Ability to work to tight deadlines while delivering high-quality documentation
- Strong record-keeping skills
- An understanding of commercial and programme controls would be beneficial
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, and PDF-XChange Editor
- Familiarity with ProjectWise, CEMAR, and CAD applications is desirable
Location: Plymouth
Salary: £120 – £180 per day (DOE)
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Security Clearance: BPSS required
